My name is Sophia Billikopf, born and raised in Santiago, Chile.  I'm a freelance photographer living in Maui, Hawaii. I choose documentary photography and film to showcase my passion for family lifestyle, philanthropy, and travel. Also, I love exploring the world of creative portraiture, and play with the magic of light, to create powerful and beautiful lifestyle photos.

There is abundance of beauty in nature, and my vision is to remind people of how fortunate we are to be alive in this time. I love highlighting positive lifestyles that inspire us to make this world a better place.

After graduating from Brooks Institute with a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Journalism, I joined Vitamin Angels in 2015 as a staff photographer. Since then I've been a part of their compelling mission;"to provide lifesaving vitamins to mothers and children under five at risk of malnutrition — reducing preventable illness, blindness, and death — to create a healthier world."
Meeting so many joyful children and hopeful mothers, has been a life changing experience for me.  My work is not only a reflection of the people I've met, but also memories of how much joy and purpose the children have brought to my life.

I'm most passionate about photographing impactful entrepreneurs, family love stories, and the maternity journey.

Jerad and Sophia are the founders of Picaflor Films - currently based Haiku, Maui, Hawaii. They've been creating together since meeting at Brooks Institute of documentary film and photography in 2013. Now married, they're seeking projects to create together that feel aligned with their core values. The intention of this company is to highlight the nectar of life through positive, impactful, and cinematic storytelling. We focus on projects that showcase social good, environmental solutions, healing modalities, revolutionary movements, transformational culture, and love stories. They produce all their projects in-house, from concept to completion, alongside their valued clients.

En español, picaflor means hummingbird. These animals were chosen as their brand totem, as a symbol of joy, happiness and love. They help awaken us to the beauty of the present moment. Always actively seeking the sweetest nectar, they remind us to forever seek out the good in life and the beauty in each day.

Picaflor Films is currently developing concepts for feature length documentaries, docu-series, and original content for their channel. They welcome collaboration opportunities, and partnership proposals. Thanks for learning more about us!
